Rainy Monday

Today is one rainy Monday. The kids were bummed because track and field practice was supposed to start tonight. It has been cancelled for tonight and tomorrow.

We had a productive morning with lessons. In math B is working on subtracting mixed number fractions with different denominators and M is working on place value notation for billions, millions, and hundred thousands. Grammar-M, indirect nouns and helping verbs; B - diagramming indirect nouns. History we talked about the 100 Years War, Henry the V and the Battle at Argincourt, and Joan of Arc.

Swim class went well and they had a lot of fun in gym. After warm ups they played some sort of game. I have no idea what the game was but it involved bases, tagging, and 2 balls.
