Montclair Art Museum 02/12/09

Today we went to the Montclair Art Museum (www.montclairartmuseum.com) for a class in Narrative Painting. The kids learned how to look at a painting and see the story within. Everyone who wanted it had the opportunity to say what they saw in the various paintings. Afterwards the students made up a story. Each family got a sentence in the story. Then the kids went to the art studio to paint their sentence.
