Today we celebrated Groundhog Day. A day when reasonable people throw reason aside and look to a rodent to predict the end of winter. And what did the groundhog say-6 more weeks of winter.
Today we read a bit about the history of Groundhog Day. Then the kids did a groundhog day word search, colored a picture, and each wrote a short story about a groundhog.
After our groundhog morning we headed off to swim and gym. In gym class they played a little football and some other games. They were tired after all that Phys Ed. But I dragged them to Whole Foods after because I needed a few things.
They fell asleep tonight with no problems at all. :)
